Publishing Approach

Website content, release and expiration controls, page templates, and workflow functionality have been built into the page entity.

Content snippets are used to manage template-based information such as as a browser title prefix or instructional information on web forms.

Content publishers can actively manage English custom URLs, page titles, and other metadata in order to influence search engine optimization. Search engine-friendly sitemaps are dynamically generated to ensure web crawlers are always indexing the most current content.

Provide a dynamic presentation of your website content by employing content tags. Tags are generated for the site and then applied to pages from a list of pre-existing tags.

Files in any format can be added to pages by directly uploading them to a page or by adding them from a resource library of previously uploaded files.

Creating relationships between content pages can be achieved by linking web pages together using the web links entity.

Windows Azure Support

By virtue of the design and capabilities of the underlying xRM Extensions framework, if desired, organizations may consider hosting their website in Windows Azure to take advantage of the potential cost savings, flexibility and scalability of this advanced Microsoft service option.

Multi-Tenant Support

Our mutli-tenant model supports the publishing of multiple websites within a single CRM instance. Organizations supporting multiple website properties will appreciate the power and efficiency of being able to manage all sites from a single interface.

Safe and Secure

Leveraging the proven security model of Dynamics CRM, the Web Content Management module supports the creation of portals by multiple business units, each with appropriate security permissions.

Website content can be secured to the business unit and user permissions flow down from the business unit level. Pages created by users within a business retain the permissions of the business unit. Additionally the Website Content Management module includes a powerful personalization and membership model that supports the delivery of complex and personalized websites.
