ADXSTUDIO CMS has been designed to scale from a single server to a large load-balanced, high-availability, server farm. ADXSTUDIO CMS supports Microsoft WLBS for web load balancing and automatic failover between web servers. Different components such as the SQL database, Active Directory, SMTP server, and Index Server can be distributed on separate (and multiple) servers. 

ADXSTUDIO CMS can also isolate the CMS interface (web console) on a separate server for performance or security requirements.  Active Directory is also very scalable and has native load-balancing and fail-over capabilities.  Reverse proxy servers and SSL accelerators can also be implemented in front of the web farm to offload additional work from the web servers.

The use of Meta tags and HTTP headers allows for remote browser caching to reduce the workload on the server for remote users and search engines browsing or crawling the site.  The scalability of websites hosted on ADXSTUDIO CMS is virtually limitless.

The ADXSTUDIO CMS APIs have been tuned for the highest possible performance on any given server. Actual performance will be dictated by the specific hardware used to host the solution, the capacity of the data center and network devices, and by the specific load that is generated by remote website visitors browsing the site.

The performance of the solution will not degrade based on the number of documents, users, files, or other objects in the system.  There is no internal limit to the number of users, documents, websites, or servers that can be supported by an ADXSTUDIO CMS installation.
