Export Sales Growth Recognized
Regina SK - The Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership today announced ADXSTUDIO Inc. as a finalist for the annual STEP Exporter of the Year Award. The award, sponsored by Export Development Canada, acknowledges companies for their success in tackling world markets.
“Export sales are a foundational component of our long-term business plan” said Doug Schneider, President of ADXSTUDIO Inc. “We’re excited with our recent success and are well positioned for progressive growth as information and content management sectors continue to expand.”
ADXSTUDIO Inc. has enjoyed export sales growth in markets including Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Year over year export sales have increased 212% and have resulted in the addition of nine professional application development staff.
“Saskatchewan is the ideal home for our operation, and with our investment in graduate hires from the Universities of Regina and Saskatoon, we’re creating strategic information technology service and solution offerings that have proven attractive to world markets” Schneider continued.
ADXSTUDIO CMS 2005 (Content Management System), the firm’s primary product, empowers communicators to publish content and manage website applications without the need for technical expertise. The Microsoft ® .NET server software is attractive to export markets due to its comprehensive integration with cost-effective Microsoft-based server environments and due to its multi-language publishing capabilities.
“We’ve leveraged our Canadian bilingual experience internationally, having extended our content management system to support any desired number of simultaneously available languages” said Schneider.
The STEP Exporter of the Year Award was introduced in 1999 to recognize the export achievements of STEP members. Three award finalists were announced and include Saskatchewan firms Ground Effects Environmental Services Inc. and Larson Hides Ltd.
“These three finalists who among hundreds of exporters in Saskatchewan represent the key drivers of the provincial economy,” said Mr. John Treleaven, President and CEO of STEP. “Saskatchewan’s booming economy is based on innovative, flexible and dynamic businesses such as these.”
