Shan McArthur talks with Ben Riga and Ryan Dunn about his experiences with the Azure Services Platform
REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA - January 5, 2009 - While at PDC 2008 in Los Angeles CA, Shan McArthur had an opportunity to discuss the experiences that the ADXSTUDIO product developers had with the early adopter program for the Azure Services Platform. The product team was able to port ADXSTUDIO CMS to support Windows Azure and SQL Data Services. In the Channel 9 video, Shan gives an ISV's perspective on the keys to success in supporting the new Microsoft products.
The website demonstrated in these videos is an example of a conference website. The website is hosted in Windows Azure, powered by ADXSTUDIO CMS using SQL Data Services for the data tier, uses Live ID for user authentication, and is deeply integrated into Dynamics CRM Online. The solution can be hosted on-premise, with a partner, or in-the-cloud with Azure and CRM Online.
ADXSTUDIO considers Windows Azure and other Microsoft cloud-based solutions to be key infrastructure components that will be important to the industry in the years to come. As such, ADXSTUDIO CMS will support the new cloud platform as well as continue to support existing on-premise and partner hosted deployment models. ADXSTUDIO customers will be able to build websites using our CMS and will have the power to choose their hosting model. ADXSTUDIO CMS is the first web content management system to support Windows Azure. Interested parties are encouraged to contact ADXSTUDIO and sign up for the public beta program for ADXSTUDIO CMS version 7 which will support Windows Azure and SQL Data Services as a deployment model.
