Scalability FAQ
Is ADXSTUDIO CMS capable of scaling to meet future website demands?

There are four main factors that influence scalability:

  1. Performance – ADXSTUDIO CMS has many built-in features including advanced caching capabilities that maximize website performance.
  2. Load-Balancing – ADXSTUDIO CMS was designed to operate in a load-balanced web farm.
  3. Multi-tier Architecture– the ADXSTUDIO CMS web console uses XML and the web services model.  This allows for a solution to be deployed across many application servers
  4. Distributed – not all websites powered by ADXSTUDIO CMS need to run live content. A web environment can be easily built that includes staging servers and other methods to allow for distributed content deployment.  For example, content authoring may be performed in an authoring environment and the website could then be ‘exported’ to the staging server in flat html for final testing and approval. Content could then be promoted to a production server once approved and scheduled.  Another innovative approach is to place reverse-caching servers in front of the web servers (ie: Microsoft® ISA Server).
